Job Title:        Regional Sales Manager - Triad, NC 

 

Position Summary: 

                        Dixie Sporting Goods was recently recognized as the 22nd largest 
                        growing company in the US. We are the leader in the team sporting
                        goods industry. As our Regional Sales Manager for the Western
                        North Carolina region, you will be responsible for optimizing
                        revenues, profits, and market share. You will provide leadership that 
                        develops people and increase the sales force account management
                        skills while improving business execution.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

·        Responsible for establishing yearly and monthly sales goals for the region

·        Responsible for hiring, developing, coaching, and counseling sales reps to
      improve their business and account management skills

·        Develop and execute ongoing 3 year sales and marketing plan for territory

·        Travel with sales force to evaluate their progress on achieving sales and profit
      margin goals

·        Organize and participate in sales meetings and industry trade shows

·        Coordinate training with company trainer

·        Supervise branch managers

·        Give written performance evaluations

 

 

Position Requirements / Compensation / etc… 

·        5 years experience in sales management

·        Bachelor’s degree

·        Demonstrated ability to hire, train and motivate independent sales reps and have
      an appreciation for today’s action sports lifestyle

·        Ability to use financial data to make decisions to maximize account profitability

·        Strong understanding of sales process, policies and procedure

·        Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

·        Strategic account and large volume regional sales experience

·        Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Ability and willingness to travel

·        Proven ability to create and manage a budget

·        Experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment

·        Proven ability to create and drive strategic business planning

·        Inventory management experience

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and
      Power Point
