Regional Sales Manager for Samsung Video Surveillance and CCTV Products.  I.              Basic Function

Responsible for generating sales growth and acquiring new customers (both in the distribution network and directly with system integrators and end users) in assigned geographic region or territory.  This is to include the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.  This position will also manage the sales people activities of the Independent Rep Firms within the assigned territory. 

II.            Essential Duties

Manage and obtain an agreed upon sales budget for assigned territory.

 

Make sales calls to existing and prospective customers to effectively grow the sales volume of the assigned territory with a goal of 3 appointments per day to include both Distribution and System Integrator channels 

 

Promote and drive customers to participate in special product promotions (e.g. special pricing, SPIFFs, etc) this requires stocking order buy-ins.

 

Communicate new product launch information and ensure customers receive coordinating marketing materials

 

Conduct Lunch and Learn training sessions with customers providing various product information

 

Participate in security industry trade shows at the GVI/Samsung Electronics booth

 

Proactively follow up on all sales leads generated through meetings, promotional events and trade shows

 

Manage independent sales rep firm activities

 

Work with internal Marketing department on product literature needs

 

Participate in weekly Regional Sales Manager conference call with the SVP of NA Sales and provide weekly sales status/activity report

 

 III.           Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 

Minimum 5 years sales or account management experience required

 

Security Industry experience required: CCTV and/or video surveillance

 

Knowledge of IP Product Technology

 

Experience working with the Dealer, Systems Integrator and End User Sales Channel

 

Proven experience in achieving and surpassing sales goals and objectives

 

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong, professional relationships

 

Superior interpersonal skills; able to effectively interface with different departments and with people at all levels of the organization

 

Prioritize tasks and work with minimal or no supervision; able to effectively work remotely

 

50% travel required 

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

 

Compensation package will consist of both base salary and a commission structure
