The Construction Regional Manager is responsible for managing sales activities in the assigned territory so as to achieve maximum results in accordance with objectives of the company. These responsibilities include assisting the Director of Channel Development in the selection of manufacturer representatives for the Construction market
Principal Accountabilities
· Responsible for maximum sales volume and increased market penetration in the Construction
· industry for the assigned area.
· Responsible for establishing strong relationship at key Construction end-users.
· Utilizing market “pull through” to effectively penetrate key Construction end-users and
· established HealthCare Products as the products of choice.
· Maintain accurate and complete computer records on all Construction end-users and be able
· to perform required computer functions outlined by the Director Of Strategic Business
· Development.
· Responsible for consistently working assigned area on a set travel cycle and review with the
· Director of Channel Development the actual pattern covered.
· Effectively manages Construction Regional Manager budget to within 5% of set
· budget. Expenses are reviewed by the Director of Channel Development
· Responsible for providing Director of Channel Development with list of target accounts and plans to reach desired objectives at these accounts. Target Account objectives progress to be reviewed by Director of Strategic Business Development on a monthly basis.
· Responsible for providing information to the Director of Channel Development any problems, opportunities, market conditions, competitive activity and issues effecting sales effort within the construction industry.
· Responsible for training of selected Manufacturer Representatives on HealthCare products and their use.
· Responsible for calling on targeted construction firms with selected Manufacturer Representatives.
· Responsible for assisting Territory Managers in growing their construction sales in their assigned areas.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent work experience is required, with a minimum of three years sales experience.
Incumbent must have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The incumbent must be capable of working a controlled travel cycle, be highly disciplined and able to work without close supervision.
Travel: 30- 40%
Responsible for the following territories:
Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Montana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
The ideal candidate will reside in Texas, Florida or Georgia
