PurposeThe RSM serves as the front line communicator & facilitator of Americas Beverages strategic direction through our bottlers and distributors networks while executing key business building initiatives in order to achieve assigned volume, share and profit targets.
Accountabilities Identify, develop and execute key business building opportunities around quality, distribution, availability, promotion, display, merchandising and pricing that will support volume and share growth for Americas Beverages, while balancing these elements in a manner that will ensure a sustainable, profitable business model is maintained for both Americas Beverages and our customers. Manage an effective communication process between multiple parties to maximize the execution of all promotions and programs. Provide the communication link with other departments and functions in order to facilitate volume-building initiatives. Continuously improve bottler / distributor participation in National & Regional account activities. Ensure forecast accuracy in order to facilitate the efficient utilization of Americas Beverages assets in addition to ensuring our ability to better serve our customers by delivering a quality product, in the proper quantity at the agreed upon time and price. Effectively utilize all associated budgets to fully leverage brand potential, maximizing freedom of choice for consumers through uncompromising retail execution. · Develop business building presentations and timely reviews for bottlers, distributors and local retail customers through effective use of syndicated data, customer channel data, trade information and brand facts. Build Annual Operating Plan with key functional counter-parts, in order layout a roadmap for future growth opportunities. Continuous Improvement of product quality and trade age management through frequent in-market visits, joint work sessions with field technical services and appropriate bottler personnel. Conduct trade visits with bottlers and distributors to inspect execution, competitive activity and to assess future opportunities with our customers. Perform administrative responsibilities as required by the individual distribution system. Continuously improve self-performance in the P/C applications of Excel / Word / Power point that will assist in the automation and processing of required information.
Pre-Requisites College Diploma or equivalent business experience 3-5 Years of soft drink sales management or experience within a closely related field Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills Computer literacy to include: PowerPoint, Excel and Word Travel (Air/Auto) required is variable dependent on location. Dictated by regional coverage planner Assertive self starter a must Valid drivers License
