About The Company:
This organization is a leader in the critical care biotech market. They market IV/injectable products that vastly improve acute hospital care. This company offers tremendous growth potential with more critical care/injectable products in the pipeline. If you work for a biotech company that has limited growth potential or are tired of “big pharma” and looking to manage a very specialized critical care sales team, than this may be the right choice for you.
Due to the tremendous growth in the past year and a pending FDA approval on a new critical care injectable drug for 2008, this organization is preparing for a major expansion. The company is searching for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Wisconsin and Minnesota region and will be directly responsible for managing the critical care sales team. The sales team calls on the major institutional accounts in this region with a focus on Interventional Cardiologists, Emergency Departments, Anesthesia, OR, and pharmacies. The RSM can be located anywhere within the region, as long as near a major airport.
About The Position:
The RSM will be responsible for managing a strong institutional sales team, as well as coaching and training, travel within region, business development, and continually evaluating and monitoring the performance of all regional managers. The RSM should have solid experience managing hospital sales teams in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. Critical/Acute care experience is a plus…current institutional experience is required. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.

Skills/Qualifications:
To be immediately and seriously considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following.
10 or more years of successful pharma sales experience as well as proven performance in a sales management role. Candidate must have at least 2 years managing teams selling into the hospital/acute care arena. Strong track record and exceptional leadership Great business acumen with ability to travel when required. Driven personality. 4-year degree required, MBA preferred.
