Regional Sales Executive - Southeast

Description

Group Data Services (GDS),

is a growing business process outsourcing company which is expanding sales operations and currently seeking a Regional Sales Executive. We are a regional provider of information processing management, outsourcing services and application software hosting to the financial services industry. Our newest areas for growth will be in the outsourced remittance (bank and non-bank lockbox) processing services, and bank core processing services.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Executive, you will use your proven sales background to capture business process outsourcing opportunities within the specified marketplace. You will identify and develop clients through existing contacts, cold calling, advertising resources and the internet. In addition, you will help to solidify GDS’s presence in the marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events. Using a consultative approach, and working with other members of the GDS team, you will meet with clients to evaluate their business and technical needs, while making appropriate recommendations to provide successful information technology solutions.

Guides contract development, negotiation and closing. Prospects, oversees the delivery process, and manages the account to continually expand the sales potential of the relationship. Acts as primary point of contact for ongoing account management after implementation for new and existing client base. Collaborate with operations, marketing, and account management team to develop proposals and customer presentations. Demonstrates services / products to customers through formal personal meetings and web meetings and / or make business focused presentations at industry conferences. Provides customer feedback for new product / service development. Creates qualified sales pipeline and forecasts sales volumes and time frames with input from executive management. Generates sales leads; contacts new prospects; builds new customer base. Travel required up to 75%, as needed

Requirements

Education:

 

College degree or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in successful business-to-business sales, account management and account development experience within the business process outsourcing and banking services industries. Should be proficient with computer and Microsoft application software. Proven ability to meet and exceed a sales quota consistently.

Qualifications:

Experience with team approach to post sale implementation support Energetic self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Hard-working and motivated, able to take ownership and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a diverse, team-based environment Detail oriented, well-organized and excellent ability to multi-task Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, confident with customers and business partners A hands-on attitude in a friendly work environment Core processing sales experience Electronic Banking sales experience Remittance processing sales experience Experience selling to finance and treasury professionals Knowledge of the Cardinal/400 Core bank processing system a plus Knowledge of bank check imaging systems a plus Must be able to immediately leverage existing contacts into sales opportunities
