Our client is one of the largest and most respected educational publishing companies in America. They have asked us to locate a regional sales consultant to be a technology specialist to sell electronic products, content and assessment tools to major colleges and universities. This representative will call on administration, department chairs and faculty members of colleges and universities in Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. This is an established territory with a large base of existing accounts with which our client has already developed strong rapport.  
 
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree and 4 or more years of successful college-level publishing sales experience, as well as experience selling technology to high level decision makers with a documented  track record of achieving sales goals. The candidate must also be a strategic sales person with great selling skills and presentation skills to groups and individuals, as well as demonstrated leadership qualities. 
 
The successful candidate can expect to earn $95-115K the first year, based on a starting salary of $65-85K plus an annual bonus that adds an average of $30K per year, but could be even higher based on personal performance. In addition, you will receive a company car, an excellent benefit package, and outstanding opportunities for advancement into sales management or marketing in one of the finest companies in the country.
