Regional Marketing Coordinator - Georgia
Academy Sports & Outdoors (Alto, Georgia)

We are currently seeking a Regional Marketing Coordinator in our Georgia region.  Location is flexible at or near the following areas in Georgia: Athens, Evans, Macon.

•Oversees all aspects of marketing and promotions for the assigned region.
•Plans and executes promotions, personal appearances, in-store clinics and store events.
•Negotiates and implements sponsorship contracts with local sports organizations, outdoors events, and sporting events.
•Coordinates store grand opening promotional events.
•Identifies and evaluates new marketing opportunities in the region.
•Works with advertising buyers, graphic designers, public relations representatives, and website designers to promote events.
•Manages the budget for the supported region.
•Operates under a team structure and assists with marketing projects in other regions.
•Maintains current knowledge on state and federal laws that pertain to promotions.
•Provides in-person support and coordination of promotional events on nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by business needs.

Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of related work experience required.
•Associates degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.
•Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study preferred.
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
•Extensive travel in Academy markets to support assigned stores required.
