MarketSource is currently looking for an exceptional Regional Manager for our Client Mass Channel Business. The position requires a combination of sales and operations management. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills. The Regional Manager will work closely with Regional Sales Management, District and Store Management both at the Mass Merchant Retailer(s) and within the Dealer community to create and implement marketing programs that promote solutions, ensure enthusiasm, and support the sales and participation goals of our retail Mass Channel sales effort.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a resourceful, collaborative, results-oriented professional who is both innovative in approach and disciplined about measuring effectiveness. This candidate should demonstrate understanding of the challenges manufacturers and retailers face.
The Regional Manager (RM) will be responsible for the Sales and Performance Plus Metrics for all assigned accounts within their region. The RM is directly responsible for the execution of all client initiatives (as received from their respective Client National Account Managers and Program Director/Manager) in their assigned region. These include but are not limited to: meeting all targeted business metrics, follow up on the execution of all store sets and client initiatives, new store sets and Grand Opening Events, reseller requested events (such as Road Shows, etc.) and the execution of all client activities (client hosted training events, new product releases, limited time offers, etc). The RM is responsible for the training of all store level associates as well as their assigned PDI Dealers in regards to the “Mass Channel” business area. In addition the RM will work directly with each reseller’s service teams ensuring that all client goals and initiatives are met and executed in a timely manner.
