RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will support the Financial Planning team in providing planning services to high net worth clients. Provides analysis, work product preparation for the Regional Sr. Planners. Documents opportunities identified from the financial planning process and follows up with Wealth Teams regarding the status of the opportunities. Will perform detailed statement analysis of individual financial statements, balance sheet, i.e. assets, liability, cash and assist in tax and financial planning in areas such as estate planning; retirement planning; compensation and benefits, including stock options; income taxes, including tax research, return preparation and planning; investment planning, including fundamentals of modern portfolio theory; and risk management.

REQUIREMENTS: Possess industry knowledge, technical and relationship building skills to earn trust and respect of internal partners and clients. Must be knowledgeable of financial planning programs and advanced knowledge of current office and spreadsheet software; Naviplan a strong plus. Four-year degree required in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2 years experience in financial planning with experience with financial statement analysis for individuals. Strong knowledge of the application of general accounting principles. Must be a self-starter who is motivated, technically astute and team oriented. Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are critical. Designation as either CPA or CFP a plus. The candidate selected may be hired as a Financial Analyst or Regional Financial Planner based upon experience.
