Job ID: 17204 Posting Title: Regional Finance & Insurance Manager Working Location: New York, NY Employment Status: Full-Time Job Summary: Assists and directs the Finance & Insurance Professionals and Account Executives in the sale and distribution of ZDU products and services to achieve and sustain profitable growth related to the Finance & Insurance book of business (i.e., writing new business, retaining existing accounts, providing quality service, increasing market share and product mix while operating within ZDU guidelines). Conducts field underwriting activities to ensure profitability of region. Manages budget for Finance & Insurance seminars and training functions for the region. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 6 or more years of related experience. 1. Extensive understanding of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology. 2. Advanced knowledge of F and I underwriting principles/techniques. 3. Advanced knowledge of F and I business offerings plus basic knowledgeof all UUG products. 4. Advanced understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles. 5. Advanced understanding of our industry, market and competitors. 6. Thorough understanding of principles, techniques and terminology ofclaims and the UUG Claims process. 7. Substantial knowledge of legal and regulatory environment, specifically within area of responsibility. 8. Thorough knowledge of personal computers, Internet research techniques, company-approved software, and business system applications including customer systems. 9. Advanced knowledge of customers' business and operations including interpretation of financial statements and administrative processes. 10. Substantial understanding of financial results of UUG and how theRegional FandI Executive job affects the bottom line. 11. Substantial understanding of effective training and training delivery methods. 12. Demonstrated management skills including planning, budgeting, coaching, interviewing/selection, and performance management. 13. Knowledge of company's vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics. 14. Understands and applies techniques to manage multiple priorities. 15. Possesses a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team. 16. Understands the importance of and demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional growth. 17. Licensed to sell insurance products in states where required. 18. Management experience a plus.
