Description The Regional Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving census development and achieving annual sales goals and objectives through the sales and marketing efforts. This position requires a great deal of energy, a strong work ethic and frequent overnight travel to specific community locations in Georgia and South Carolina. The position will be based in Atlanta, GA. Duties include, but are not limited to: •Work in conjunction with Regional Director of Operations and Executive Directors to develop and implement Marketing Sales Action Plan for each assigned community to target sales efforts and achieve census goals. •Weekly schedule to include four days on-site in assigned communities, a maximum of one day in the office. •Submit regular and requested report to Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Director of Business Development. •Track and analyze community progress toward census goals and objectives and make necessary adjustments to community based sales and marketing plans, as needed, to meet goals. •Develop innovative strategies and tactics within Five Star Quality Care guidelines to meet census goals. •Manage implementation of sales strategy for each product to create business growth. •Leverage resources and monitor business in assigned communities for maximum sales impact. •Work with and support Executive Directors to conduct market analysis, which includes competitive site visits for competitive reviews. •Maintain in-depth knowledge/database of Five Star Quality Care communities and competitive products and customer markets. Submit competitive analyses for each community to Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Director of Business Development each January and July. •Monitor and participate in the annual resident satisfaction survey process for each community. •Develop ongoing relationships with key customers in each market. Track and monitor all related actions. •Communicate issues and opportunities, including possible solutions concerning business conditions. •Facilitate consistent communication with Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Director of Business Development to ensure alignment of goals and activities. •Conduct work contacts/referral calls with Executive Directors and Directors and Sales Representatives on a weekly basis. •Assist Newton (Corporate) office with sales training seminars and meetings as requested. •Work in conjunction with Regional Director of Operations, Corporate Director of Business Development and Executive Directors to develop and implement sales, marketing, media, and other plans for assigned communities. •Oversee appropriate utilization of marketing budget. •Work with Director of Marketing to coordinate involvement of advertising, public relations, promotions, other as requested. Required Skills Must have experience with Sales and Marketing in the senior living industry to include multi-site responsibility
