Oversee Regional/Department loan approval process including serving as Chairman of the Bi-States Regional and Agriculture Loan CommitteesResponsible for the credit quality of the assigned Region(s)/Department including management of the quarterly Loan Quality Review meetings.Provide effective front end guidance through active involvement with loan officers, senior lenders, and area sales managers, including participation in customer calls, as appropriateProvide guidance to lenders on loan policies and proceduresAdvise and make recommendations to Chief Credit Officer and Commercial Group President on credit matters, as appropriateComplete special projects assigned by Chief Credit OfficerActive participant in Credit Analyst and Loan Officer training programsAttend banking center loan committee meetings, as appropriate

Required Skills:

Strong analytical skillsBroad based knowledge of “Commercial and Industrial” loans, commercial real estate, including builder/developer loans, and agriculture loans.Strong background in finance and accountingHighly developed administrative, process, and organizational skills necessary to handle multiple tasksExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Experience Required:

BS Degree required; MBA preferredMinimum of 15 years commercial lending experienceSuccessful track record as a relationship manager and lender with significant customer contact experience
