Fireside Hearth & Home, a leading distributor of hearth products, sells and installs fireplaces for leading builders throughout the country. At Fireside, your contributions are recognized and rewarded. We are currently seeking 2 Regional Credit Managers to manage our credit functions. These positions will be located in either Annapolis Junction, MD, Charlotte, NC, or Lakeville, MN, depending upon the location of the right candidates.
The successful candidates will be detail oriented, experienced in accounts receivable / credit and collections, able to interact will all levels of management, and possess the initiative to respond to customer inquiries, research disputed items, resolve collection issues.

Essential Duties
· Works proactively with managers to achieve regional DSO objectives
· Checks potential new customers and updates existing customer's credit through Dunn & Bradstreet, NACM and Riemer reporting agencies.
· Determines and establishes credit lines to extend credit to customers
· Approves new customer contracts
· Collects cash on past due bills, making appropriate phone calls and following up with written communication. Documents actions in computer system
· Creates and distributes monthly customer statements
· Prepares monthly allowance of doubtful accounts analysis
· Maintains contract report
· Administers aging with A/R adjustments
· Administers credit hold process. Communicates proactively with customers
· Maintains open communication with Regional Controller and point of contact in each division regarding problems, credit concerns, adjustments etc.
· Trains members in division on department policies and procedures
· Must follow all safety rules and regulations
· Must follow all quality standards
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or related field
One to two years related experience and/or training
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Ability to work with members at all levels within the organization
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Able to travel throughout the region (<10%)
