Regional Coordinator – Reno, NV - Advanced Academics
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Okla., Advanced Academics, a company affiliate of DeVry, Inc. partners with school districts to help high school students graduate and succeed. Advanced Academics supplements traditional classroom programs through online course instruction using highly qualified teachers and a proprietary technology platform specifically designed for secondary education. Advanced Academics also operates virtual high schools in partnership with school districts and charter schools in 6 states.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision from the Regional Director, the Regional Coordinator has the primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, deployment and ongoing account maintenance of Advanced Academics’ Web-based education solution. The Regional Coordinator is the primary liaison between the school district and Advanced Academics’ functional departments including sales, customer support and technology. The Regional Coordinator will work to ensure that Advanced Academics’ product is utilized to its fullest potential within the district.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primary responsibility regional account management of direct-to-student and direct-to school customers within an assigned region.
• Liaisons between internal departments—School Development/Operations, Marketing, Enrollment, Technical/Customer Support, and Education—and customers to ensure high level of service.
• Adheres to Advanced Academics’ Standard Offering for new and renewing customers.
• Works closely with new customers to plan, implement and deploy the Advanced Academics online education solution with the district.
• Adheres to customer reporting schedule as defined by standard offering or agreed to by customer.
• Supports the development and administration of local, regional and state-wide initiatives.
• Provides platform and application administration training as required.
• Conducts frequent customer meetings and provide periodic reports that describe progress against established benchmarks and milestones.
• Supports regional team to help secure new business and expand existing customer base.
• Provides guidance and work closely with Project Coordinator, if applicable.
• Provides support and recommendations to the department processes as well as contribute to overall success of the company as directed.

CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 - 4 years of professional experience preferably in the K-12 educational market, eLearning and/or complex solution software industries.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and knows how to effectively work as both a team and individual.
• Excellent written communications skills and experience writing reports.
• Excellent oral communications skills and experience with public speaking, classroom and meeting presentations.
• Familiarity with Web-based applications, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM based solutions.
• Home-based position in Reno, NV
• 50-75 percent travel required.
