Job Summary:
Employee will be the Regional Business Development Manager for the New Jersey area. Employee will be Textron Defense System's interface with all existing and potential customers, will manage existing business relationships and seek new opportunities for all Textron Systems companies. Employee will manage a one-person office and is expected to travel 30 - 35 percent of the time.
Responsibilities Include:
Establish, maintain and manage Textron Defense Systems' presence and interface with government and industry at Picatinny Arsenal and Northern New Jersey. Key areas include munitions, sensors, vehicle protection, small arms weapons & ammunition, UAS armament, tube launched projectiles, precision guidance, fuzes, timers, S&A's & mortars.
-Serve as Textron Defense Systems POC for all established and emerging programs (Spider, IMS, CSS, Watch Dog)
-Develop new opportunities for Textron Defense Systems within ARDEC and the resident PEOs/PMs
- Monitor activities of interest within the Picatinny community and educate key Textron Defense Systems leadership, program management and engineering staff.
-Recommend and manage face to face meetings between senior Textron Defense Systems leaders and Picatinny ARDEC and PEO leadership.
-Support other Textron Systems divisions as needed (TMLS, AAI, HRT, Overwatch and Lycoming).
Education:
Position typically calls for a Masters Degree with 5+ years of related experience, or a Bachelors Degree with 7+ years of related experience, or an Associates Degree with 10+ years of related experience. An understanding of Picatinny Arsenal and the DoD acquisition and user communities is essential.
License and Certification Requirements:
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. citizens for the successful processing of a security clearance as mandated by the US Department of Defense.
