Franchise Audit Services (FAS) is an appraisal function established within Realogy to examine and evaluate its franchises within the Real Estate and Mobility businesses.  FAS provides revenue evaluations and recommendations to promote effective control over the reporting of revenues as well as compliance to franchise agreements.  FAS represents the brands in face to face interactions with the brokers during on site visits. Auditors visit each location within the first year of opening to ensure policies and procedures are understood and to assist with general reporting requirements.  FAS also performs virtual audits on compliant franchisees who supply their records to our Parsippany location.  Audits of select international locations are also performed.  The group is made up of thirty internal and external audit professionals, with 25 based in locations throughout the country. 

 

FAS is currently seeking a Regional Auditor to support their WA, OR, ID, MT territory. 

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

Verify that each real estate franchise is operating under the terms of their franchise agreement and document any findings in an assigned territoryVerify that each franchise is reporting accurate gross closed commissions and document any findings in an assigned territoryConduct Top Line Audits (preferred customer franchisees)Collect royalty fees due as a result of the auditCollect any past due aging amountsSubmit all audit work papers in an organized and timely fashionSchedule audits in an effective manner maintaining a schedule that is four weeks out Submit organized and timely expense reports and adhere to budget guidelines Assist with training of new auditors as requestedA company vehicle as well as expense allowance is provided. 

 

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-3 years industry/business experienceAbility to travel 75% of the time (some overnights required)Excellent organizational & communication skills are required.The ideal candidate will reside close to a major metropolitan area or airport, (i.e., Seattle, Portland, etc)
