POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for achieving annual sales quota through the development of new and existing regional account sales relationships. The position requires prospecting, developing relationships and selling to large independent business owners, as well as Fortune 1000 company decision makers.
The successful Team Player must possess highly effective communication, presentation and negotiating skills with the ability to build rapport with existing and potential clients. Successful candidiate will have print, mail or agency experience, with a strong sales focus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve annual revenue objectives through a combination of the following:
· Maintenance and growth of existing regional accounts.
· Cold-calling, prospecting and new account development.
· Day to day account management including client campaign development and execution, reporting and follow-up.
· Management of on-going account activities, including account receivables and collections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience –
· Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing/Advertising or related.
· 5 + years of direct selling and prospecting experience. Media/advertising/marketing industry
experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities –
· Extensive prospecting and cold calling skills.
· Consultative/Solution-based selling experience.
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
· Self starter who works independently.
· Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
