Join The Project Team That Is Making This A Reality
Currently seeking an experienced Refractory Inspector to support the Project Manager and Ste. Genevieve Project Team in completing the construction of a 12,000 t/d clinker, 4 million t/y Greenfield cement plant project.
Have a direct impact by providing oversight for the installation of all refractory for the new plant, including but not limited to wear linings, all brick shapes and types, various types of monolithics with various application methods while ensuring safe work practices are followed by the refractory installation contractors.
With your Five (5) to ten (10) years practical experience with refractory installation, responsible for the interface with the engineer, material suppliers and installation contractors to ensure the highest quality installation according to the plans, specifications and material supplier recommendations. Your demonstrated technical/professional knowledge in the refractory arena, assist in the selection of installation contractors.
Through excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish relationships, provide coordination between the general contractor, project team and refractory contractors to ensure installation is completed according to plans and schedule. With a high level of quality orientation and consistent attention to detail, assist in and provide oversight for the dry out of all materials in the plant according to specifications and supplier recommendations.
Ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor's degree desired in Chemical Engineering or Material Science, is self motivated and able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
Our facility is located on 3900 acres of which approximately 2,200 acres is being preserved as conservation easement and 2.6 acres of wetlands, maintaining our commitment to the environment.
