Recruiting Specialist – Recruitment and Staffing

This is a unique opportunity to play a major role in the success of Instigate at a key stage in its corporate development. The position requires an individual to partner with management, colleagues and clients to develop and drive a world class recruitment function for emerging and growth organizations.

Background and Personal Characteristics: The successful candidate will need to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with candidates and clients. This person will have experience in a tactical recruitment efforts as well as ownership of the complete talent recruitment life-cycle. An understanding of emerging recruitment processes and technology is a plus. A recruitment industry background is desired, but an HR background with significant recruitment and talent management experience will be seriously be considered. Most importantly, the individual must possess the ability to successfully operate at the pace and high performance standards which are a critical component of Instigate's culture.

Key Responsibilities:

High volume of candidate sourcing and screening via phone, internet and face-to-face. Develops positive relationships with hiring managers, candidates and internal management. Direct sourcing and other proactive candidate recruitment efforts for our clients Reviews resumes/applications and evaluates applicants work history, education and training, job skills, desired salary and qualifications. Active involvement with web-based Recruitment, Applicant Tracking, Testing and Assessments, Background Checks and Drug Screening Systems. Oversee initiation of assessments, skills testing, background investigations and drug screening per client requirements. Assess and improve key processes / procedures for recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer approvals.

Key Requirements:

5+ years experience in recruiting and staffing in a high volume evironment desired. Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results. Self directed and motivated with a passion for producing high quality work. Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles. Creative, but able to deliver operationally. Great communicator. Strong technical aptitude. 4 yr Business Management degree.
