Medical Education Administrative Services (MEAS), a servicing company in Coral Gables, Florida seeks an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated recruiter to promote our medical program in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Mountain states, and British Columbia. The candidate must be based in Northern California or the Pacific Northwest and must be willing to travel throughout the region, schedule appointments with pre-medical advisors, attend college fairs and give presentations to prospective students at universities. The recruiter will also be responsible for the retention of accepted students in his/her territory through matriculation.

 

Responsibilities:

Attend graduate and health fairs Plan, promote and organize information sessions Conduct pre-health advisor office visitsAnswer queries from prospects and pre-health advisors in region  Maintain up-to-date prospect and pre-health advisor records in database Host pre-health advisor visits to the Basic Sciences campus in St. MaartenRepresent the University at conferences/symposiums and other events as indicatedConvert prospects to applicantsRetain accepted applicants through matriculation

 

Qualifications:

Strong customer serviceSuperb attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSolid relationship building abilityStrong computer and organizational skillsCandidate should reside in Northern California or the Pacific NorthwestBachelor’s degree Minimum 2 years experience in sales or recruitingA valid passport will be required to travel to St. Maarten

 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Enrollment Management Division of MEAS. Qualified candidates will be required to interview in-person at the MEAS office in Coral Gables, Florida. Travel to/from the interview is at the candidate’s expense. If chosen for this position, the candidate will be required to spend one week training in Florida, or another designated remote office location, at the expense of MEAS.
