Primary Functions:Greets and directs associates, applicants, clients, other visitors; answers telephone and respond to inquiries regarding job openings; directs calls to staff, as appropriate. Screens incoming calls/visitors to ascertain nature of contact and who can provide appropriate action. Types letters, memos, and administers/updates the HR department Intranet page. Posts job postings to the HR intranet page and Company website. Assists in the creation and maintenance of a variety of electronic reports. Updates the Company phone list, organizational charts, and training records as needed. Occasionally files documents. Processes various invoices for the department and updates/tracks the department’s budget report on a regular basis. Accepts payment, tracks sales, balances fund for discount ticket sales for RGA associates. Maintain and monitor monies lost from vending machines and refund RGA associates (calls for repair). Monitors, and maintains medicine log for associates (i.e. aspirin, band-aids, etc); maintains a constant supply of appropriate medicines. Accepts/signs for company deliveries. Monitors and maintains express mail log for company. Order flowers for associates as appropriate and monitors Company’s lost and found items. Acts as back-up to the Senior HR Assistant and assists the Senior HR Assistant and other department staff as needed.
RequirementS:-High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
-2-5 years administrative experience in human resources department
-Basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Basic math skills
-Proficient customer service skills
-Ability to be flexible and adaptive to change
-Basic oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
-Ability to prioritize work
-Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
-Ability to work independently and within a team
