Major investment banking institution located in Atlanta has immediate needs for Analysts and Associates to work in their Private Equity Real Estate division. This position reports to a Manager and is responsible for the overall accounting, reporting and operations for global private real estate funds as well as affiliate funds. Responsibilities for this position are diverse and challenging and consist of but are not limited to: assisting on special projects including re-engineering processes and system implementations.

The duties of this position consist of preparing quarterly and annual financial statements as well as footnote disclosures; preparing various financial data analyses based on requests from business units, investors and auditors; preparing fee calculations and verifying that these calculations are in accordance with applicable agreements; addressing and resolving audit inquiries from external auditors during year end audit; assisting on IT initiatives to automate processes, program calculations and streamline reporting.

The ideal candidates for these positions have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; are well organized, detailed, analytical individuals with 2-4 years of applicable work experience. Any Real Estate partnership accounting or reporting experience is a plus. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and meet deadline restrictions; committed to  delivering a high quality of work with a great attention to detail. Pro active self motivated individuals will prosper greatly within this department and company. Strong written and verbal skills are required. Public accounting is preferred but candidates with strong private experience will definitely be considered. Any Real Estate accounting/analytical experience is also helpful.
