Description: JOB SUMMARY

Researches and collects labor market information to assist with the production of corporate site selection studies. Tracks and updates all changes to databases as it relates to new construction projects, proposed projects available. Provides reports and analysis on demand from corporate and vendor databases.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Researches and collects market information regarding labor markets throughout North America and the World. Gathers data on and inputs data in appropriate databases.



Continuously updates information databases by conducting telephone surveys, contacting economic development agencies, staffing agencies and employers, extracting data from brochures and other marketing materials, contacting outside agents, internet research, and other sources.



Provides reports from corporate and vendor databases in support of management and marketing activities of consulting professionals.



Implements information management processes to assure data quality in accordance with corporate standards.



Maintains accurate property and availability information relating to specific properties targeted in communities under consideration.



Assists in maintaining information resources libraries.



Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two years of work experience in a professional services work environment.



Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.



Ability to comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write simple correspondence.



Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and/or supervisors on a one on one basis.



The ability to communicate corporate client site selection objectives and articulate benefits to elected and appointed city, county, and state representatives to solicit appropriate responses.



The ability to be resourceful to identify and contact sources capable of providing accurate and reliable information to be included in professional site selection studies. Must be able to maintain client confidentiality.
