Responsibilities:

Responsible for independently buying a category of business & managing financial components Define assortment, drive sales, gross margin and manage inventory goals Analyze data, anticipate issues, and forecast results Identify, analyze and pursue category trends Develop spreadsheets and ad hoc reports as needed Train and mentor assistants as needed

 

What we’re looking for:

Experience as a Buyer, Associate Buyer, or Senior Buyer within a Retail environment. Catalog or Ecommerce experience is a PLUS! Experience in any category will be considered, however Furniture, Home Furnishings, Lighting, Rugs, Décor experience is a PLUS!  Experience developing assortments, managing OTBs, forecasting, sku analysis, etc. Strong vendor negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills You must have an open mind, willingness to learn and be open to taking educated risks
