This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in General Radiology plus one additional modality (Mammo, Dexascan or computerized Tomography) by following department/hospital policies, procedures and protocols.

Weekends, Holidays and On-Call Required





Responsibilities:

Performs radiographic exams of a complex and sophisticated nature in area of qualification, following physicians' orders, using independent judgment, and applying the learned methodologies in accordance with established policy and procedures within Medical Imaging and throughout BHS.

Reviews films to assure adequate quality of radiographs.


Performs vein puncture as necessary according to hospital policy.


May periodically act as preceptor to students-orients to department, coordinates training schedules, provides direction, and evaluates progress.






Qualifications:

Graduation from AMA approval Radiology program; A.R.R.T registered Radiology Technologist; CPR certification; Certification in General Radiology and one additional modality.
