This global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality function in this automotive plant in Iowa.  This is a very profitable company with sales in the billions and is recognized globally as the top in their industry.

This person will lead a quality group of ten.  It will report directly to the Plant Mgr. but will also have dotted line responsibilities to the Corporate QA group.  This person will be a key figure in dealing with customer issues.  Some responsibilities will include:

managing resources of the quality function to support achievement of plant measurements and corporate quality objectives.interpret quality requirements of major customers and make sure quality standards are integrated into other functional areas.oversee quality audit processbe a main contributer in the Six Sigma ProgramMake sure TS16949 requirements are being met

Requirements:

BS degree, advanced degree preferred5+ years in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing company, preferably automotive industrySix Sigma background preferredTS 16949 exposure required
