Summit Polymers currently has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to join the management team at a SW Michigan plant.

 

Job Requirements:

Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain good customer and supplier relationships.  Administer the company’s Quality Assurance Program; coordinate overall quality specifications and standards; and develop process control and inspection procedures. Manage plant Quality Engineers, lead by example, and hold people accountable using measurable metrics. Ability to problem solve using standardized lean manufacturing methodologies. Oversight and working knowledge of advance quality planning techniques such as:  8-D, SPC, GD&T, FMEA, and PPAP. Experience and quality engineering background to be able to identify quality issues, troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Positively represent Summit and to provide the customer with the level of support that assures continued success.
