We are seeking an experienced and talented Quality Manager within our Client’s well-established, high-volume manufacturing facility.  Our ideal candidate possesses the following experience and skills:

 

·      5 - 8 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility

·        Bachelors Degree in a related field

·       Strong supervisory and documentation skills

·       Solid background in an automotive manufacturing facility

·        Knowledgeable in the following:

o       TS16949

o       ISO14001

o       APQP

o       FMEA

o       GD&T

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage a staff of 13 to 15 auditors and engineers Develop operating budgets for the quality department Provide guidance in product and materials development with customers, as well as plant staff Interpret engineering standards so products are produced at, our above, acceptable requirements Ensure plant quality meets the highest of standards while verifying cost and timing guidelines are being followed Work directly with customers on quality systems and quality assurance for products Resolve quality problems as they arise Oversee the compliance of TS16949 within the plant 

Requirements:

5 to 8 years of experience as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing facility Working background in an automotive manufacturing facility Proven ability to effectively manage a staff of at least 15 associates Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledgeable in the following TS16949 ISO14001 APQP SPC PPAP FMEA GD&T

Education:

Bachelors Degree in a related technical field required

 

Rate of Pay:

$60,000 to $75,000 Annually
