MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS   (MUST meet minimum qualifications to be considered)

Bachelors degree in Engineering Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Automotive Parts Quality Engineering

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong technical, verbal, written communication skills Strong computer skills Ability to work in a team environment. Willing to work overtime as required and be a self-motivated and self-directed individual.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate QE responsibilities for NPI Programs Coordinate all quality activities related to customer complaints, including coordination of sorting activity, identifying the root cause of problems and ensuring that countermeasures are put in place that will prevent problem recurrence. Generate customer required documents Visit customers for vehicle and product evaluations Champion customer concern resolutions & lead company wide product approval activities Present periodic updates to management Coordinate supplier PPAP approval activities and approval of supplier PPAP Conduct supplier audits as well as coordinate SQA-Net Activities Support TS requirements and assist in the development of the Quality System Travel domestically and internationally is required

 

            

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 35 pounds, lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds with a lift assist, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear, use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, work on the production floor as needed, and frequent phone use and keyboarding.
