Summary
LiveNation’s Global Digital Group is looking for a QA Analyst with proven ability to contribute to the test effort for technically challenging products. This person will have a passionate, yet pragmatic approach to making sure their work results in a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
Test planning, test case development and executionPerform testing and work with other team members to set up appropriate tests for LiveNation’s products and servicesReport on test progress Interact with Dev engineers to learn about internal programming interfaces & work flow, analyze the test process, help develop strategies for testing products and servicesHelp ensure relevant test coverageTroubleshooting interactions with back-end serversWork with development and release management teams, etc., to help facilitate smooth, stable releasesInteracting with appropriate manager(s) to prioritize work Participate as an integral part of the team, exhibiting ownership, follow through, initiative, awareness and effective communication with peers and managementContinually learn, actively share knowledge and foster exchange of skills Proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality of data and usability of information systems. Perform ad hoc projects as required.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on test, quality assurance, or development experienceUnderstanding of programming languages, such as XML, Java, PerlWhite Box / Black Box test experienceDemonstrated experience testing N-Tiered applications (client/servers/databases) Working experience with software development methodologies and practices Working knowledge of testing methodologies and testing tools Solid experience writing test plans & cases Excellent bug reporting skills Is detail-oriented, thorough, inquisitive, and creative Excellent written and oral communication skills, can express thoughts clearly, knows how to listen and is able to contribute in a team environment Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet firm deadlines Flexible, proactive, quick to learn and with a can-do attitudeStrong Preference given to those with:
