A company located in Southeastern Kansas is actively searching for a Production and Quality Assurance Manager. This position's primary responsibility is producing quality products while maintaining or reducing standard operating costs. The plant manufactures polyurethane and other chemical products used in outdoor equipment. This position requires that candidates be able to implement “lean manufacturing processes” and improve product quality while keeping the plant ISO-9000 compliant. It is strongly recommended that candidates applying for this position have a BS degree in chemistry, or chemical, or industrial engineering, with a minimum of a Green Belt in Six Sigma training. The company has a good benefits package that includes medical and life insurance, long-term disability, 401K, vacation, and 6 paid holidays. The salary range is estimated and your salary will be based on knowledge and experience. The client would prefer local candidate, but wants to select the best candidate possible. A relocation package can be negotiated for this position if needed. We are asking you to answer the provided questions in order to get your information to the client as quickly as possible.
