We need a first rate Quality Assurance Manager to assist us with our rapid growth and help us meet changing demands. Position Summary
· Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) including compliance policies and procedures and/or creating improved quality policies and procedures, conduct internal audits and track findings. Provide executive management with findings, analysis of issues and recommendations which ultimately lead to achievement in improved customer satisfaction, lower return rates, improved in-process controls, and lower cost of ownership as it relates to quality defects.
· Develop, control and ensure the effectiveness of quality programs. Provide oversight for monitoring ongoing improvements and continued compliance to these programs as well as necessary training.
· Develop, implement and manage site goals, objectives and metrics on compliance and inspection activities. Ensure the processes, metrics and methodologies are in place and followed for projects.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies e.g., ISO 9001, and other related industry standards.
· Work with customers on quality improvement initiatives, customer quality scorecards, and supplier quality management systems.
· Work on special projects as requested.
Basic Experience and Requirements
· Strong management, organization and communication skills.
· Experienced in implementing and maintaining ISO quality management systems.
· Solid understanding of US and International Quality Standards.
· Experience in quality management of contract manufacturers
· Extensive experience in dealing with customer audits/quality issues
· Must be a credible representative of the company to customers, shareholders, State, Federal, and other regulatory agencies
· Seven to ten years of quality management experience
