What You'll Do

Plant Vehicle Team Quality Analyst

Provide statistical analysis and support for all Ford internal quality indicators, including the Analytical Warranty System (AWS), Common Quality Indicator System (CQIS), Early Claims Binning System (ECB), and Quality Leadership System (QLS) Provide statistical analysis and support for all Voice of the Customer Product Development quality metrics and market research external quality indicators including the Intensified Customer Concern Definition program (ICCD), the Global Quality Research Study (GQRS), Consumer Reports Recommended Buy, JDPower & Associates IQS, IQS2, and Consumer Insights Appeal Studies Provide support for the Balanced Single Agenda for Quality (BSAQ) system for CAP vehicle programs. Ensure engineering roadmap accuracy, provide reports and analysis as needed Skill level should be subject matter expert and include the ability to train others Implement and ensure compliance for all ISO requirements for the PVT department. Maintain appropriate ISO department records Ensure PVT equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated Participate in the CAP ISO audit process as department chair Ensure PVT compliance to all Ford Quality Operating System Requirements (QOS) Thorough understanding of all PVT procedures and elements required Subject matter expert should be able to train new PVT team members in the Variability Reduction Team (VRT) Process Assist with the Supplier Request for Engineering Approval (SREA) process for all CAP vehicle programs Assist with Engineering Alert process for all current production vehicles built at Chicago Assembly Plant Coordinate Plant Quality Reviews, Director Level-Vehicle Line Quality Reviews (VQR), Product Development Quality Reviews (PDQR), & senior level-North American Quality Planning Assistance Meetings (NAQPAM) for CAP Provide statistical analysis and support to Six Sigma Black Belt projects and VRT DMAIC problem resolution 6 panels Coordinate the See Your Sable Built program and Chicago Assembly Plant tours Maintain CAP metrics for Corporate Policy Deployment Facilitate the Material Cost Reduction (MCR) blitz?s Train engineers and hourly employees in the Six Sigma based Variability Reduction Team (VRT) Process Provide direct customer support through the GQRS customer call-back process and FCSD dealer part expedite service Provide Chicago Assembly Plant facilities services for all PVT members and co-located Cost Attack Team members

What You Have

Education

BS Degree

 

Experience

Ten + years experience in automotive manufacturing field.  Preferable in quality environment Five + years Lean manufacturing/FPS experience Extensive knowledge of Ford Quality Operating System Elements and Procedures In depth knowledge of the Consumer Insights- Global Quality Research Study, Consumer Reports- Recommended Buy, JDPower & Associates- IQS2 and APPEAL studies

?         Including survey methodologies and metrics

ISO 9001/12001 audit experience Thorough understanding of Ford Quality Operating System (QOS) elements and procedures Proficient in providing detailed reports, documents, and presentations suitable to senior level management. Green Belt Certification is desirable

?         Expertise in Excel to use pivot tables, and developing Macros

?         Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook to schedule meetings and maintain calendars

?         Ability to use Netmeeting and conferencing tools to facilitate meetings
