Our Opportunity

Our Life Sciences division offers a unique and challenging opportunity for a QA Biologist at our Covina, California location. This key position provides and performs all microbiological tests as required by the Bio Lab department for final product lot release.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepares and provides all biological indicator samples required in monitoring the Sterilization and Heat Treatment processes and assists in validation studies.

· Performs all sterility tests on BIs for the Sterilization process and validation studies.

· Performs USP sterility test as required and for special European Pharmacopoeia requirements.

· Performs Ambient Bioburden testing of product, product solutions, needles and filters.

· Samples and processes Environmental Monitoring samples.

· Prepares lot packets for supervisor for product release.

· Performs Airborne Particulate Monitoring.

· Performs LAL testing on the WFI systems, Raw Materials, Disposable Equipment product and Blood Bag finial product testing.

· Performs tissue culture testing on plastics and maintains cell lines.

· Maintains current revisions of CO-QAB procedures and manufacturing procedures.

The Talent We Need

· Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of two to three years experience and education.

· Experience in FDA-regulated or ISO Certified industry preferred.

· Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, with the ability to learn other Company-implemented databases.
