Yoh Scientific has a contract opening for a QA Biochemist in the King of Prussia, PA area. Our customer is a global pharmaceutical firm engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of products worldwide.  This is a contract opportunity that helps the right candidate to get a head start in a large pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities:
• Provide bioanalytical support for the production of biopharmaceutical products
• Responsible for running in-process GMP samples on various methods.
• Responsible for following standard operating procedures to maintain cGMP compliance.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
• Calibrate laboratory instrumentation.
• Specific tests to be run include ELISA, A280, HPLC and release for residuals.

Qualifications:
• BS in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1 – 2 years of experience with QC of biopharmaceuticals preferred.
• Specific experience in GMP testing, running ELISA, A280 assays or HPLC assays preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
