Establishedhorse, livestock and utility trailer manufacturer opening new location in Northeast Ohio area, and looking to fill the followingposition:
Responsibilities:
> Purchasing of all materials used in the fabrication of trailers, adheringto corporate-established standards and budgets.
> Process purchase orders, expedite existing ones, resolve invoicediscrepancies, and other tactical purchasing tasks.
> Analyzes material availability and arranges purchasing and/or or in-houseproduction of parts to ensure timely availability of materials.
> Negotiate contract pricing with vendors in order to obtain best pricingand terms while achieving corporate purchasing goals.
The ideal candidate will possessthe following skills:
> Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent experience)
> Excellent communication and organizational skills
> Excellent problem resolution skills and ability to follow through.
> Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
> Computer proficiency with Office software including Word and Excel
