CCH Incorporated, (a Wolters Kluwer Company), the leading provider of business information and software in the United States, is currently seeking a Publishing Specialist (internally known as a Production Specialist) in our Riverwoods Corporate office. This role is entry level and perfect for any one who wants to start a career in publishing. You could be a recent grad, or someone who is looking to change their career. Responsibilities:

You will be the final stage of the process in the production of the documents that go to our customers. That might be a book, a binder or an online service. You’ll be the contact for a number of key people in the business; the Editor, the Printers, the Graphics Designers.

 

Coordinates the production of a variety of publications in both print and electronic media Organizes and processes content for loose-leaf, electronic and/or book productsMaintains timeliness of publications and handles deadlines during peak periods Responsible for quality assurance of print and/or electronic products Communicates regularly both within and outside group

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required (Any type of degree but English and History are usually best for this position)Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment (you’ll have to do both)Outstanding oral and written communication skills (a love for the English language)Professional attitude, flexible and responsive to change (it’s a corporate position)Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills (You have to be able to make things happen, quickly!)
