As Partner Channel Manager you will manage relationships with the US Public Sector Vendors and develop strategic marketing programs to drive sales, and identify opportunities to generate maximum marketing development funds (MDF) to finance these marketing programs/initiatives. You will also need to leverage and oversee internal Marketing Operations to ensure successful execution of marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in developing and maintaining deep relationships at all levels within the vendors.
• Provide weekly updates on marketing plans, sales trends, projected sales, and any other items that vendor revenue.
• Run periodic sales reports for analysis. Identify opportunities that could increase revenue and produce specific marketing plans to drive incremental revenue.
• Optimize up-sell, attach rate, and cross-sell opportunities by creating sales incentives for the outbound and telesales teams.
• Interact and serve as an internal resource for all departments in facilitating the relationships with HP.
• Develop and maintain levels of expertise with our top vendors including Server/Storage, Networking and Security products, associated programs and policies in order to support and service our internal and external customers.
• Develop, organize and conduct training on our top vendor product lines.
• Create and/or disseminate sales tools to increase product awareness and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal sales process. (i.e. – Cheat sheets, add–on sales tips, process flowcharts, configuration tools, etc)
• Optimize MDF revenue potential.
• Building marketing proposals to maximize MDF contributions.
• Co-ordinate and manager executive meetings.
• Solicit, manage, and drive rebate sales goals
• Filter and disseminate pertinent information to sales as required
• Represent Softchoice at vendor events.
• Promote alignment of Softchoice and vendor sales teams.
• Work closely with the Vendor Sales Manager to maintain pipeline reports, weekly reports and all documentation to support business opportunities and new sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business or related programs)
• 3+ years in a similar marketing role. Must have either marketing, sales, or technical experience in the IT industry. Marketing or sales experience with any of Softchoice's manufacturing partners a plus (Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo or HP)
• Must be passionate & excel at building and management business-to-business relationships
• Creative and strategic thinker with solid presentation experience
• Comfortable presenting to executive level management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven record in working independently to 'own the end result'
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel)
