CD&M is seeking a highly organized, incredibly skillful public relations strategist to serve our growing client group. As the ideal candidate, you should be a disciplined self-starter with strong media relations, writing, presentation, and PR strategy development skills in both consumer and B-to-B or high-tech segments. Critical thinking abilities and project management experience are also a must. If you have experience in being a part of a corporate brand planning process (in a PR strategy role) that is a huge plus.
Daily responsibilities in this position include:
Direct client interaction and management of PR projects Team collaboration with account executives, brand planners and creative staff Development of comprehensive public relations annual programs Executing and managing day-to-day PR activities, including press conferences and media relations Media training and coaching for clients Writing and editing articles, press releases, and PR-related web site content for consumer, B-to-B, and high-tech clients
Minimum requirements:
5 years of demonstrable public relations practice and experience (marketing, editorial or general communications experience is not enough; your background must include specific PR experience) A portfolio of work that includes consumer and B-to-B PR writing samples Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or similar field Agency experience, crisis communications management skills are a plus
