CITY: Pittsfield STATE: Maine COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Responsible for establishing forecast processes, maintaining short and medium term production and inventory plans, and driving fulfillment at plant and distribution centers of the Atlantic Supply Chain group. Lead and manager the demand based forecasting process to ensure customer and marketing intelligence are integrated into inventory and production forecasts. Implement and run weekly and monthly operating process to define production, sales and inventory plans. Manage finished goods and component inventory levels to drive production demand and meet customer fulfillment requirements. Manage finished goods and component planning and provide expediting support with designated Sourcing teams. Leverage Six Sigma to drive improvement around critical X's in the Supply Chain process - data driven process improvements. Strong communication, team-building and energizing skills. Must be able to work with remote teams in an effective manner. Expedite finished goods orders as required to prevent stockouts in Distribution. Review materials plans as needed to support spike order demand on sku's. Analyze future stock-out reports and coordinate production to prevent. Calculation of material plan and adjusting master production schedule to support production rate. Expediting of raw material and FG's Publish production reports as required. Adjust PSI cell rates Qualifications/Requirements: BS or BA in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Materials Planning or similar degree. Three or more years of professional experience with production planning and/or materials logistics. BaaN planning and shop modulation module experience a plus. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in manufacturing and distribution supply chain management. 3 or more years experience with ERP or DRP planning processes required.
