Assets Protection Team Leader (Hourly Department Managers)
As an Assets Protection - Team Leader, you will support the AP mission by delivering a safe and secure store environment through the execution of AP best practices as well as the management of the TPS team. You will be responsible for building a safeness culture within the store through the use of company programs, minimizing theft and fraud by making theft apprehensions when appropriate and documenting & communicating suspicious activity to Investigations, DAPTL and your store team.

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Target Protection Services team including hiring, training and development Participating in hiring, training and developing a diverse TPS team Participating in AP team member development by providing honest feedback, coaching, mentoring and recognition Using Team Trainers, Training Tools and the Learning Loop to train team members and following up to check for understanding Making theft apprehensions when appropriate and demonstrates good judgment through high quality apprehensions Keeping team members aware of AP updates by covering safeness, theft and fraud related topics during huddles and through other store communication vehicles Driving incident prevention by collecting and analyzing information to determine the proper course of action Driving a safeness culture through sharing information, prevention practices and being a visible presence Ensuring Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) equipment is functioning properly and communicating issues to appropriate level of leadership Partnering with store leadership to drive best practices aimed at reducing shortage
