Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading infrastructure redevelopment services firm, has an exceptional opportunity in our San Antonio office for a Proposal Manager. Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON), a leading infrastructure redevelopment services firm, has an immediate opportunity available for a Proposal Manager position. The Proposal Manager will support WESTON’s Global Division working closely with Client Development, Program Management, and Contracts Management to bid and win business in the Department of Defense (DoD), Commercial and Government arena. Responsible for managing all phases of the proposal development process in response to DoD; international government and commercial requests for proposals (RFP). Core components of this position include: • Reads and interprets solicitation documents (RFPs) producing an analysis of the client requests and requirements. • Manage all aspects of proposal preparation, revision and submission; and coordinate input from technical, contracts, and finance departments; and coordinate internal reviews. • Establishes schedule and facilitates proposal strategy meetings to discuss themes, discriminators, technical solution, etc. to ensure all intelligence acquired during the pre-RFP and post-RFP periods has been considered. • Lead in driving the proposal process to meet timelines, customer specifications, and business team requirements. Oversee configuration and quality of the proposal production and related logistics. • Manage assigned proposal technical writers in the development of assigned sections. • Work with established teaming partners in developing proposals for which the company has teamed as either sub- or prime contractor. • Develop new ways to implement best practices, and improve quality and streamline efficiency. Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in proposal development. Strong background in marketing, proposal writing, and project management. Demonstrated success with DoD proposal process, specifically in writing, editing, and managing complex proposals in response to solicitations in the Federal Government, and Commercial/Industrial marketplace. Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience. Open and direct communicator; collaborative team player; self-starter; driven to success, attitude that the success of team is their success. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
