We are currently seeking a Proposal Coordinator to work in our McLean, VA location. Candidates must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Federal background investigation. This position will report to the Bid and Proposal Manager. The Proposal Coordinator for the Bid & Proposal Group is responsible for coordinating a broad range of proposal activities and assisting the Bid and Proposal Manager in keeping everything on track.

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

Responsible for the overall administration of the various file sections and graphics used in the proposal response, including but not limited to the following:

 

Provide critical support to the proposal manager by establishing and implementing formats, file structure, and administrative controls for security and change management. Lead the production effort and coordinate printing services. Track and report on internal delivery milestones, highlight delinquencies, and prepare workarounds as necessary. Perform office application functions using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Perform desktop publishing functions and provide support to the Bid & Proposal Manager throughout the proposal development life cycle. Set up proposal templates in accordance with the solicitation requirements and directive from Bid & Proposal Manager. Attend kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and color team review meetings, as required. Update and maintain various libraries of supporting information, including resumes, past performance, and other related proposal “boilerplate.” Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

 



Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience providing proposal support in a technology environment in response to government RFPs and bids A minimum of five years of proposal coordination experience in a high tech environment. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent organizational skills Ability to utilize the Internet and Intranet as tools to support bid activities A knowledge of Graphics packages (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus. US Citizenship
