Manage multiple projects ranging in TIC value $1MM to $20MM. Approve purchases, budgets, schedules, and estimates. Work with local / out of town Engineering Design firms. Integrate Capital Projects within TA Cycle Plans. Identify and manage resources needed to execute projects by setting clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for project team members. Establish and manage expectations for operability, safety, environmental, reliability, cost, and schedule in order to mitigate project risk. Monitor project controls to ensure project objectives are being met while proactively communicating the project status on an ongoing basis to all involved parties. Lead project teams to identify root opportunity capture options and test solutions for acceptable quality. Proactively manage scope to what was approved by the sponsor unless changes are approved through the Change Management Process. Manage PHA for projects (HAZOP, PSSR, FMEA, SDR, MOC, etc.). Utilize SECOMA for all projects. Involve the Construction Services execution coordinator in constructability reviews. Maintain good working relationships with Engineering and Design providers, T/A Group, Construction Group, RTG, and Process Engineers. Proactively integrate all project schedules into the turnaround schedule. Integrate document and cost control for projects into the turnaround schedule. Involve the turnaround execution coordinator in constructability reviews. Oversee assigned maintenance engineer and set expectations for best practices in accordance to Flint Hills Resources guidelines. Hold coordination meetings as required for communications with project managers, maintenance engineer, document control, cost control and turnaround group. This includes schedule integration meetings and weekly project coordination meetings.



Work Experience & Skills Required:
Extensive experience (10+ years) with Bacherlors Degree in Project Management and overseeing the execution of multiple Project initiatives. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Work Experience & Skills Preferred:
Background in Manufacturing (Industrial Plant) Maintenance, Operations and / or Reliability fields beneficial. Working knowledge of Planning / Scheduling software (P3, Primavera) desirable.

Education Required:
BS in Mechanical, Civil / Structural, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
OR
If no Bachelors Degree,15+ years relative work experience overseeing the execution of multi project initiatives. 

Education Preferred:
Post graduate studies / training in business or economics desirable.

Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions:
Must be able to climb ladders / stairs. Don / doff respirator for emergency escape.

Other Considerations:
Flexible, capable of balancing multiple priorities, Texas (or reciprocal) PE license, some travel is required.
