COMSYS is looking for a Project Manager for a Contract to HIRE opportunity with one of the oldest and largest providers of healthcare staffing in the United States, located in Salt Lake City Utah! Summary of Job: The project manager will be working in the Marketing department, reporting to the VP of Marketing. They will lead and manage strategic projects for this client to better position them to meet their growth goals. They will partner with the client business units managing projects from inception to implementation. The project manager must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They will adhere to the clients mission and values. Job Function: (Essential) Responsible for managing web related development projects as assigned Leads cross-functional teams involving programming, design and architecture, IT Operations, and multiple Business Units as necessary. Act as the single point of contact to the account service team and other IT groups during project lifecycle. Responsible for coordination of project resources; Ensures cross-functional IT and business areas are involved as appropriate Establish and track project Critical Path, milestones and deliverables Set and continually manage expectations with business partners Establishes project success criteria, and drives the project to meet established measures. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing project schedules Manages scope, issues, constraints, risks, assumptions and change control process throughout project lifecycle. Track and report project progress and status Initiate escalation of issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution Coordinates User Acceptance testing Ensure successful project deployment to production Conduct project post mortems and report feedback to Project Management Team in order to identify successful and u nsuccessful project elements. Job Requirements: (Essential) Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels; effective in communicating with senior leadership as well as technical staff. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels. Effective project estimating ability to work with team members to come up with project estimates. Proven track record and experience in leading and managing projects following traditional Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies Proven track record in managing complex software development projects to completion on time and within budget Builds trust among business partners and other IT professionals. Effective problem solving skills exhibited by effective collaboration among project team members to resolve issues and drive the project forward. Proven experience providing leadership to the project team Proven effectiveness in managing project resources and schedules at all levels Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time. Experience & Education: (Essential) College degree in technical or business field 3+ years experience leading software development projects Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, Work, Excel and PowerPoint **(non-essential) PMI Certification Abilities: (Essential) Ability to manage project scope Ability to drive results proven track record with taking initiative to do what it takes to drive the project forward Ability to lead business partners through the analyze phase identifying and capturing business requirements Ability to lead business partners in documenting business requirements and then lead them through the conversion of high level business requirements into process flows, use cases, and Six Sigma process maps Ability to convert business requirements into development and project tasks to be managed within the technical teams Ability to plan and manage the entire life cycle of the project including developing test plans, implementation schedules, and post implementation support.
