Project Manager

This position Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of Self-Service and Payment Systems projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished. Functions as the technical authority on a project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Assist Sales team and customers in determining requirements and scope for self service and payment solutions projects; usually at customer sites.Communicate project requirements to Source Technologies Engineering team, and come to consensus as to delivery milestones and dates.Serve as project manager/liaison between Source Technologies hardware and software engineering teams and customers/partners who are part of a solution. Maintain up-to-date project plans, which may include those activities of external venders, partners, and consultants.Provide weekly status reports to Source Technologies management and customer(s).Oversee on-site installations of HW and SW for both pilot and production projects and trade shows.Assist sales personnel with technical discussions when talking to prospective customers related to Source Technologies software and hardware. These discussions may take place on the phone, at Source Technologies' offices, or at the customer site.Assist with product demonstrations at Source Technologies offices and at customer sites.Attend trade shows and conferences as the technical sales resource.Via hands-on work (SW installations, kiosk environments preparations (wiring, prepping, testing, etc)), obtain a working understanding of products and solutions offered by Source Technologies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience managing complex IT projects or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Advanced verbal and written communications skills.Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions. Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop computer-generated flow charts. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment. Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Ability to develop project budgets and projections.
