Lokion is looking for a Project Manager with agency and software development or large e-commerce implementation experience.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing activities throughout the entire life cycle of a client project from proposal through project closure. He/she will manage expectations, ensure quality of outcome, resolve conflict, provide complete change management, and provide proper closure and follow up including post mortem.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Work with stakeholders and the Lokion team to ensure requirements are gathered and documented, and then ensure the project meets those requirements.
•    Ensure the project is completed on-time, on-budget, and on-scope.
•    Manage client expectations.
•    Facilitate and support team efforts.
•    Work with team leads to manage internal team resources, contractors, and third-party vendors where applicable.
•    Assist with proposal development – defining client needs and proposing solutions, budget and time estimates, proofreading.
•    Create and manage project schedules, milestones and cost/budget.
•    Scope management and change management.
•    Prepare and implement communication plans within team and with client.
•    Lead status meetings, deliver status reports, and meeting summaries with client and internally.
•    Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients and communicate them to business development personnel.
•    Responsible for auditing time spent on projects, ensuring billing occurs for projects, and entering time as mandated by company requirements.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS:

•    BS or BA.
•    Experience in a software or Web development agency environment required, as is experience with large projects.
•    General understanding of the software development lifecycle is required.
•    General understanding of content management systems and e-commerce infrastructure/architecture is required.
•    Proven problem solving abilities and people management skills.
•    Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive documents a must.  
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
•    Ability to respond to the needs of diverse audiences.
•    Ability to multi-task, and handle multiple projects as required.
•    Deadline oriented.  
•    Must be able to learn quickly about a wide variety of technologies, coding languages, platforms, and development processes and must keep current on same.  
•    Must have conflict resolution skills.
•    Expertise in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  
•    Understanding of e-commerce deployments is a big plus.
•    PMI certification a plus.

ORGANIZATION:

Reports to the Director of Project Management within the Client Services Department.
