CH2M HILL’s Charlotte, North Carolina office is in need of a Project Engineer/Project Manager to join their team. You will have the opportunity to not only utilize and enhance your existing skills but also to work with our regional water engineering staff to support our existing and future work in the water, water resources, and wastewater engineering markets. Our ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience and be familiar with the North Carolina market.

As a Project Manager, you will serve as a primary contact with clients to ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship, achieves complete client satisfaction with our work, and fully leverages our relationships to benefit the client and the firm. As a Project Manager, you can expect to manage medium to large size projects and serve as the leader/manager of project teams, supported by technical task leaders and sub-consultants as needed.

The Project Manager is expected to have experience and skill in managing project budgets and project teams and be adept at building and managing widely dispersed project teams.

The Project Manager will have a solid understanding of wastewater treatment plant design principles and the preparation of engineering reports. Water treatment and conveyance experience desired but not required.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Candidate should have a BSCE and 12 years experience in design/construction of wastewater projects. Candidate will serve as project manager on projects and be responsible for overseeing the work of subconsultants engaged in detailed design. Candidate will be responsible for Client Service Management for selected clients. Preferred Qualifications: Candidate should have a MSCE and 12 or more years experience in design/construction of wastewater treatment plants, sewer pipeline, and/or pump station projects. Candidate will serve as project manager on projects and be responsible for overseeing the work of subconsultants engaged in detailed design. Experience with water treatment/conveyance projects is a plus. Candidate will be responsible for Client Service Management for selected clients.
