Position available to provide on-site project management support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) VIRGINIA Class Program Office (PMS450) in the areas of Acquisition Management, Congressional and Legislative Affairs, Media and Public Affairs, Graphics and Promotional Materials, Procurement and Contract Administration, the Paperless Office Initiative and general program management support. Candidate MUST have:   Bachelors degree in related field. Minimum 5 yrs exp.  DoD clearance; familiarity with the VIRGINIA Class program office or another NAVSEA acquisition program office; advanced computer skills in MS Powerpoint and Excel and experience with the NAVSEA task approval process.

 

 

Responsibilities include acting as primary poc in all areas as project manager of six member team; Responsible for the quality assurance and project management of multiple tasks to multiple customers in NAVSEA, GAO, Congress, N87, DASN and SEA08; responsible for the coordination and execution of all deliverables to pertain to the VIRGINIA Class program status and description of the program's initiatives in all areas of concern pending upcoming milestones and acquisition strategies. Also responsible for the financial management, staffing as well as maintenance and growth of the task.
